From child to Tom Boy to rebellious Catholic school girl to young lady, Riley Patton discovers how to make decisions by trusting her own instincts through a series of LifeStorms guided by her LifeMentor, Mother Boyle. Riley travels to and from lands of fantasy and matures through a process of trial and error, conflict and crisis, love and loss. Riley is in search of the Blarney Stone, which she initially believes to be an actual object that will deliver the answers to life.
Orphaned after a train kills her father, she discovers her Daddy's LifeBox, which secretly holds three LifeCoins. She reads a special note left for her by her father with special instructions. Frightened at the thought of being alone, she discovers an old church, the 10x6 St. Gobnan Church, where she lives and hides from the authorities. Although she continues to attend school, the School of Catholic Higher Orders, she is concerned about finding the right LifeMentor who will adopt her in order to avoid foster home after endless foster home. She believes that a flip of the coin will direct her to the right road in life. Ultimately, however, she learns that LifeCoins, the Blarney Stone and other objects are simply material possessions that can be tossed.
Riley learns that the real answers to life rest inside your heart, and ultimately finds the "Blarney Stone within." Through the process of adopting a special cause to free child labor camp prisoners, Riley's heart expands, trust builds and fear begins to diminish. Along the way to discovering her intuition, Riley encounters crying peacocks, cloned police, talking cows, flying rooks, triplet clergy men, all on her road to the ultimate Trinity College where she will learn how to become her own LifeMaster.
