Jose, an adult in his late thirties, does not know what to make of his father, Orlando, an artist with so many gifts and hobbies that he forgets to make time for his son and family. Jose, on the other hand, has a lot of growing up to do and should consider moving out. Still Jose feels fatherless and alone and feels that his father, Orlando, only prefers to make time for Gina, his sister, who happens to be a gifted potter and Joshua. Jose still lives with his parents and helps out when necessary. His father's room is just downstairs but a lot of past hurts and business seems to hinder them at every point of the year. Will this upcoming Christmas be anything different? Will Jose make time for his father and/or will Orlando make time for his son, Jose? Will Jose ever have the opportunity to sing for his father one last time?

Rajesh's grandmother had died during the early hours of morning. After performing the last rites Rajesh's father and family were taking the body for cremation. The body was placed in the electric incinerator. There was a small viewing hole to look into. Rajesh's grandmother's sister's son his Chittappa was looking through it and no one else had the courage except Rajesh. He was standing right next to take a look when his Chittappa straightened no he fell backwards screaming "Ayyoo valiyamma (mother's elder sister) is alive" In the pyre a resurrection or what? What happens next? Common sense is not common!!! Then that night in the room where the body was kept for family to view and respect Rajesh and his uncle were sleeping. Rajesh on the floor and uncle on the sofa when someone scratches them on the sole of the feet. Someone taps them on the chest. Ghost of the grandmother being playful. Read the two part story...

This book is still very much a work in progress. You, the reader will be discovering its adventures at nearly the same time I will be. It has been a slow process so far because every time I feel as if I am satisfied with a portion of the book, enough to publish it at least, I begin to come up with even better ideas which completely change the landscape of the book.
