Rito Yuuki solo deseaba una vida normal: risas, amistad y, tal vez, incluso amor. Pero en la ciudad de Sainan, la paz nunca estuvo a su alcance. Antes de que pudiera reaccionar, agentes de Blackwatch lo rodearon, gritando órdenes. Un único paso en falso hizo que el vial se estrellara contra el suelo. El virus se propagó. Las balas le siguieron. Rito cayó. Su cuerpo fue trasladado al Laboratorio Gentek, situado bajo la ciudad de Sainan, donde los científicos buscaban convertir la infección en un arma. Pero ocurrió algo inesperado. Rito despertó... transformado. Sus venas palpitaban con energía roja, sus ojos ardían de furia y su brazo se retorció hasta convertirse en una hoja viviente. El virus se había fusionado con su alma, reescribiendo su destino. Ahora, perseguido por Blackwatch y atormentado por recuerdos de traición, Rito Yuuki camina en la delgada línea que separa al hombre del monstruo: el Prototipo del Amor y la Venganza.

Rito Yuuki regresaba a casa, como de costumbre, junto a las chicas que lo esperaban allí, hasta que presenció un portal que lo transportó al Sueño del Cazador; la única forma de volver a casa es unirse a la cacería en Yharnam.

So she thought of the most evil plan ever She started forming a plan cloning beings from other universes to use in another despair inducing game She cloned an Alien with pink hair, a plain looking boy with orangish hair, and a weird robot thing from one universe. A green haired boy, a small girl with silver hair, and a pomeranian from another. A fat Italian She also cloned one of the overseers for a laugh but took away most of his powers She even cloned a talking pig But the last group she didn't clone.....in fact......these were the remaining students of Hope's Peak.....that shall face their last stance in this despair game.
