He'd been bullied relentlessly for it as a kid which resulted in his family moving and him wearing an eyepatch to conceal his honey colored eye while showing only his bright green one. Only Armin (his best friend) and Mikasa (his adoptive sister) knew about his eyes. Both boys have secrets they fought to keep hidden, secrets that had hurt them in the past and threatened to hurt them in the future. Written in response to a #PTR challenge from @In_Hind_Sight Valentine's Day approaches and Eren has no one to be with. His friends are all occupied with each other and he is invisible to everyone. The past four years were the same. He wanted to be loved, yet was blind to love that was already there.

19-year old Eren Jeager lives with his Abnegation family consisting of his father and mother, Grisha and Carla Jaeger. When the Choosing Ceremony day comes closer and closer, however, Eren can't help but feel a nagging feeling on the back of his mind, especially when that feeling concerns a certain black-haired raven. They vowed to stay together in reliable Abnegation where they at least had their safety guaranteed, but as the time comes to make their choices, loyalty suddenly comes at a price, especially when rumors of a faction war start surfacing. Through hidden personalities, misunderstandings, and blossoming feelings, one thing is for certain: nothing will be the same. {Note: This doesn't follow Tris and Tobias' point of view.
