They were never meant to fall in love. Ava White and Kevin Ashton were born into two empires at war-rivals in business, heirs to legacies built on competition and silence. In college, they were just Kevin and Ava-two hearts laughing in shared secrets, two souls who fit too easily. But timing was cruel. And love doesn't always arrive when you're free to choose it. Kevin fell for Stella Ross-sunshine, gentle love, soft promises. And Ava hid her feelings behind smiles, jokes, pink dresses, and the name she whispered for him only in her diary: Teddy. One drunken night after graduation changed everything. One wedding shattered what was left. And one accident destroyed the world they thought was safe. Now grief ties them closer than love ever did. Ava is the only one who can pull Kevin out of the darkness. Kevin is the only one who sees the pain Ava tries to bury. They heal each other slowly-quiet mornings, shared breaths, wounds stitched with laughter and tears. But the world still sees them as enemies. And the media is already asking questions. How long can two broken hearts hide the one thing they never stopped feeling? This is not a love story that begins with falling. It begins with waiting, breaking, returning- and finally, choosing. Content/Trigger Warning: This story contains scenes of violence, and mentions death and suicide attempt

The throne room shimmered like a wounded lullaby. Marble floors mirrored torchlight, but the air was heavy with disdain. Priests in gold-lined robes. Advisors carved from old stone. And voices- sharp as scripture. "A boy cannot command." "A submissive creature cannot be King." "Let him sing in silk, not speak in law." And yet- Taehyung sat. Bare wrists resting on the throne's cold arms. Lashes downcast, but gaze unfazed. Like moonlight resting on a blade. He said nothing. He did not explain, did not defend. He simply was- draped in silver silence, crowned in defiance. Until- The doors opened. Slow. Ancient. Final. And in stepped Jeon Jungkook. The King of Iron Nights. The shadow-draped tempest in black velvet and stormfire eyes. He moved with thunder in his veins and a smirk carved like sin on his lips. He did not ask permission. He did not greet the court. He only walked- to him. The condemned Queen. The boy they all feared would break the crown. Taehyung did not look up. Not until- A shadow knelt. The hall gasped- a sound like glass shattering beneath velvet. Jungkook bent low, like prayer, like gravity itself bowed with him. Then he did what no one dared believe- He took Taehyung's foot -fragile, pale, sacred- lifted it onto his knee... And kissed it. Not with hunger. But with hush. With worship. With forever. Then he pressed his forehead against it, eyes closed, breath steady, and whispered so only the boy on the throne could hear: "My moon-blessed Swan..." The room fell into a stillness so deep it felt like snowfall on a battlefield.
