Clearkit is an ordinary kit in RiverClan. She lives with her three sisters, Petalkit, Featherkit, and Flowerkit. But when one of her sisters gets pulled into a mysterious shadow, Clearkit and her sisters have to save her other sister from the shadows.

After seasons of suffering alone in StarClan, Thrushpelt is ready to give up. He doesn't want to be that tom who has been chasing after Bluestar for moons on end, and he doesn't want to fade away into nothingness, alone forever. So he turns the tables on Bluestar, and Thrushpelt soon finds himself surrounded by cats who want to help him. But what they help him with isn't want he really wants.
