Cassandra Prewett had stuck out as soon as she came to Hogwarts have come from Portugal instead of the UK like most of the other students but quickly made friends with Lily Evans, Alice Longbottom, Marlene McKinnon and later with the Marauders. After Hogwarts, the friends still stayed close and even extended their group to include another foreigner from America, Alexander Whitmen. Cass quickly got to know Alex as they bonded over their experiences in different countries. Cass also got closer to the half of the Marauders she didn't quite know, specifically Sirius Black since he was best man in James and Lily's wedding while Cassandra was maid of honor. ~still making small edits and adjustments although the overall story is done~
