Fictional story about side characters "Ice" and a fictional main character (why even hide the fact that i'm writing this as autobiografical wish thinking) as protagonists As the plot of west side story in the 1950's develops, so do the protagonist and Ice find themselves in never seen before territory between friendship and relationship. His cold hearted qualities by which he deserved his street name and his hot temperament keep the main character in a constant dilemma she tries to fight against. Will these two be able to get over their own egotistical pride and prejudice to find their true intentions in each other? A story about romance, politics on the streets and what it means to 'prove oneself' I got inspired after watching the movie and falling in love with Ice's character as well as the portraying actor Kyle Coffman; plus the whole profound ensemble of the plot made me so emotional and it seems irresistable to deny an opportunity of diving deeper into this world of dynamic tension and righteous anger
