Ben starts to care. About you. About people. About his girlfriend. About feelings and being a person. Growing up. But it's difficult. Seemingly, especially, for him. And he's failing. Miserably. So he's starting to look for answers in the stars. Most of the time rejecting the entirety of his surroundings. Wondering if there are any answers at all. In this wonderful world laid out, bare, in front of him. A novel about breast sizes, bad jokes, break-ups and aspirations for betterment. Boob. Beeb boob.

Lieber Leser, ich habe ein Problem. Eigentlich sogar zwei. Ein Problem mit Anfängen oder genauer gesagt mit Enden und eines mit Lesern - ich habe nämlich keine. Mir fallen permanent irgendwelche Figuren oder Geschichten ein und in meinen Notizbüchern und auf meiner Festplatte häufen sich Anfänge von diversen Geschichten, die ich irgendwann mal erzählen will. Allerdings führe ich sie nie zu Ende. Welche Geschichten lohnen den Aufwand überhaupt? Für welche könnte sich eventuell jemand interessieren? Keine Ahnung. Und deshalb bin ich hier. Diese erste Geschichte ist eigentlich keine Geschichte. Sie ist der Anfang von vielen Geschichten. Und vielleicht könnt ihr, können Sie, mir helfen zu entscheiden welche dieser Geschichten erzählt werden soll. Ich freue mich über jede Form der Rückmeldung. Die Freibeuterin

"The Three Muscleteers" is a spin-off of my book "Choices". It tells in 5 chapters the story of "Surfer Boy" Tommy and his friends Jamie and Kevin, who decide to team up in a gang they call "The Three Muscleteers" when they are bullied at school. After graduation, they go on a trip across Spain and France to learn the languages, meet people, explore exciting places, experience freedom and love, and most of all have fun.

Surfers, artists, bossa nova and the explosion of rock n' roll, under the newly installed Pier at Ipanema Beach becomes the perfect canvas for this ragtag band of misfits.
