This is a short poem. It started with a story starter: "It was the road to nowhere" and became an actual poem because I was feeling inspired that day. It might be just a little depressing, and it may or may not turn into a story one day. Maybe.

They Discovered Their Names

You've heard of the Road to Nowhere. Of course you have. Everyone has. But what about the Road to Nowhere in Particular? A lost traveler explains what it's like on the Road, the tales, the destinations, the stories. One may very well lose their mind on that Road, be torn apart inside and out. But one may also find Heaven, lost amongst the forest. What would you find?

It's a nameless city full of nameless people to 15 year old Kelbe Maxaawish. Lost in life after being abandoned as a child and then, 10 years later, by her adoptive family, El has nowhere in life to go-except the streets. Mad at everything on the planet, Kelbe settles in an alley that joins onto the main road of an unfamiliar town, simply called The Avenue. And that is where El's life takes a turn for the better...but the past is always lurking, and just when El gains something, her past threatens to resurface and tear it away. How can you fight for your life when your greatest enemy is yourself?

Rory and Dalton drive home from their first date in an awkward silence. When they get stranded in the middle of nowhere they seek help from a man that, little to their knowledge, has a very dark history.

After the death of their precious daughter, Clare, in an accident, Cara and Mike feel it was their fault that their daughter had died. But then they remember that someone had texted them to "watch out" just seconds before the crash. In a flashback, they are desperate to find the driver of that truck, and the unknown texter of that message. But in the present, both parents question if the crash was actually an accident, or if the entire situation was planned...
