"Two Worlds around Us" is a story about Jack, a regular school student in his mid teens doing the oh-so-wonderful Mock Exams. After a long day of doing none other than the daily grind, he decides to relax, or so he thinks. He tries to take a break from the world, but unfortunately fate is not on his side when he accidentally falls into a second world. A second world that he recognises from somewhere, but he just doesn't know where exactly that is. This story is based off of a film. I won't say which one (Unless copyright laws make me) because it will spoil the book.

One letter can be a coincidence, two letters can be a prank but the a few next letters can be serious. Theo, a nineteen-year-old teen, felt isolated at Autumnsfield. While his friends are out of town spending summer in the hottest way possible, he is stuck in town to manage their Café with his eldest sister Emma, while their parents are on a tour in Canada. Moonbeam's Café is being renovated for expansion and Theo was assigned to box every book at the Café's reading nook. A letter distracted his already messed up work, finding it tucked in the pages of a book. Sneakily, he read the first letter without a single clue that it could change his whole summer into something mysterious--and lethal. With every clue, he tracked down the letters that contains deep and unlawful secrets about its writer, and with every read his feeling is affected. Raw. Unedited. King Charles said that flights of angels came to take his mother away. But in this short story, Elizabeth simply takes the hand of the little girl on her windowsill who had been waiting there patiently one last time. Come read a short story that combines current events with fanfiction of the childhood classic The BFG. A good read for anyone needing comfort from the passing of the Queen.

I originally wrote this for my Advanced English 12 class, but now I want to delete it off my computer. It's a short passage based off Rohld Dahl's short story "Skin". It's meant to play, at least a bit to each of the senses of the character in central Paris, pre-ww1. The story is a prequel of sorts, the reader gets to look in on the moment Dahl's protagonist Drioli meets the love of his life, Josie.

INCOMPLETE; UNEDITED Hortensia Buckets is an eleven-year-old attending Crunchem Hall, and it's safe to say she hates it. After her latest encounter with the Trunchbull, she is left with a smoldering spark in her chest. She wants to fight back, but she can't do it alone. The little troublemaker has her own fears and anxiety, and it's not something she can do alone. She'll need the help of the entire school to fight against the Trunchbull-- her greatest bully, her abuser. "There's no escaping tragedy." Matilda Wormwood is a five-year-old genius. Able to read, speak, and do computations beyond what even most middle-schoolers can do, she is a natural prodigy few can recognize. Her own parents are the most blind to her talent, only seeing her as a heavy burden and a useless little thing, neglecting her greatly. When she steps foot into Crunchem Hall, she knows what has to be done. "Sometimes, you have to be a little bit naughty." Miss Honey is the teacher of the lowest form, hiding her secret between her and the Trunchbull from everyone. She recognizes talent when she sees it, and she can see the spark in Matilda's eyes. Even if the Trunchbull and her rotten parents won't see it, Miss Honey will see to it that Matilda gets the attention she deserves. "It's not a lot, but it's enough for me." When Matilda and Hortensia recognize each other's burning desire to fight back, the two agree to start a rebellion. To fight back. But a few obstacles stand in their way. ______________________________________________________________ This book is based off of both the book Matilda by Roald Dahl and the 2022 Matilda the Musical. I own only the plot and some of the OCs. Many of the scenes and songs are borrowed from the book and movie. A majority of the characters and other elements of the story all belong to the musical and book; I own very little of anything. TW/CW for mentions of neglect, abuse, blood, and other harsh topics. Viewer discretion is advised. -

This is a short story I wrote based on The Way Up to Heaven by Roald Dahl, it is from the point of view of Mr. Foster and both stories can exist at the same time in the same universe- only one flaw/incoherence : Mrs' Foster's bedroom is in his story in the 2nd floor, in mine in the 3rd (because of an implied reference) It is written, but flawed, I hope I will get to rework on it (won't happen) so as to polish my phrases, my syntax, my dreadful spelling (spelling mistakes will be present I am sure) and coma placement... The rhythm of the language is not what i sought but oh well.. I'll be perpetually dissatisfied.. If you have any questions feel free to ask (such as why I chose and threaded certain words (most of them have been chosen for implicit meaning such as the thistle-color as the thistle flower was used to spoil milk and make cheese (at least by my fam) or why certain references or what i meant by certain phrases idkk..) btw - if you're interested in the analysis of his style feel free to ask, i got a 27 page version and a 6 page version of an analysis of his style (i tried to make my writing a bit more academical even though it was a struggle) and i take quotes and snips from about 22 of his short stories. Hope you have fun reading
