Roaming Stories

This story is an homage/parody of the video game series Sonic the Hedgehog. As such, it all takes place on an alternate Earth -- better known as Immobi. This wicked wild world is home to a variety of anthropomorphic animals, including two 19-year-olds in particular. There's the good-sported, itchy-footed, and quick-witted Umeme Cheetah. Then there's the cocky, carefree, and foolhardy Radi O. Peregrine. The cat and bird are best buds who not only share a brotherly bond, but a need for speed as well. Hence their names (translated in Swahili) these two Immobians wield the power of electrokinesis. Pretty self-explanatory, but they're able to generate high amounts of electricity within their bodies -- allowing them to perform various tricks and techniques. The most prominent being to move at literal lightning speed, as our duo race across the vast African continent -- if not beyond -- in search of thrill and danger. Be it open plains, dense jungles, scorching deserts, or etc. etc. -- these sparking speedsters will certainly be there in a flash. Throughout their adventures, Umeme and Radi will come across various characters -- both friend and foe alike. With their most frequent foes being monstrous entities known as Nightmares. Created from a currently anonymous source, each kind varies from shape and size -- yet shares a common goal to wreak total chaos. While these Nightmares are determined to do so wherever they go, both cheetah and peregrine are determined to stop them in their tracks. So don't blink -- 'cuz if you ever see two streaks speed by, you can bet one hell of a storm's a brewin'.

The prince blinked away a hardened look as a small flush of guilt rushed over him. "Prince Chance.. Please..I didn't..I--I..." Another set of piercing agony shrilled upon her voice. "Please..." Her voice trailed off then rose to another yell of pain. The prince quickened his walking pace as the screams lessened. It's resonating vibrations from the stone cold walls of the long corridor bounced with an eerie echo. Abason..I'm coming. ~~~~~ Sooo, this is the second book to "The Roaming Archer Series!" If you haven't read the first book yet, I suggest that you do so. :) I'll try my best to make it readable for those who haven't read the first book, but I can't make any promises that I might miss some aspects that only the first book readers would know. Anyways, I hope you enjoy this book! ^_^

With her is the event planner Kabir, whose business hangs by the balance now that this wedding has been foiled. It took everything out of him to put his past away and start this event management company. He dreads having to go back to it if this company fails. What will the two end up finding? The treasure or something far more valuable? Do follow this story, because while I will be uploading twice a week, there is not telling which two days of the week this will happen, and I wouldn't want you miss the latest chapter.
