Howard Donald has just been given some heart breaking news by his fiancé. In search of comfort and a place to sleep the night, he stumbles across his bestfriend, Jason's home, Jason takes him in and lets him stay. However, it's not just one night he spends, but many nights. Of course you'd think this was absolutely fine, to be staying with your best mate, having fun together. But there's a problem, Howard is starting to think dirty thoughts about Jason. What happens when he realises he's falling for Jason? Does Jason reciprocate his feelings? And if he does, will they be able to live a happily ever after? Will they even have enough courage to tell each other of their growing feelings? How will the lads take this new relationship? Or will Howard's past creep up on them and slowly destroy any chance of a lasting relationship?

He was fine living alone, without any commitments other than to his job and to having fun whenever he could. Meeting one woman, who put her faith above her own needs, above her own happily ever after; completely changed his world. This little story is about a promise that Gary and Robbie make to each other after their big conversation, which isn't really intended for the public. A promise that had to be fulfilled at some point and thus will have far-reaching consequences. Actually, this fan fiction was planned as a OneShot, but then I thought that I would make at least a two-piece out of it. Inspired by the following songs by Robbie: The Promise, Into The Silence, Reality Killed The Video Star & Different. Likewise, through an interview in which Robbie couldn't and wasn't allowed to say anything about the true story of Different.

Take That FF - Gary has a huge problem. He sits in a terrible writing block, where he cannot think of anything. Since Gary had already tried everything to get out of it again, he took a suggestion of Jason one day, whereby he could return to the old strength.
