I was a girl with confidence, beauty and a brain to match. I was a girl who was said to have everything, a nice home, nice clothes, and a wonderful, loving family. I was only fourteen when my life was spun upside down. My so-called "Father" died, my Mother was forced to work a low-paying job at a bar as a bartender, we were forced out of our large home outside of Manhattan, and into a low-income neighborhood in Queens. I had to leave behind my friends, my dog, and worst of all, my home that I had grown up in. My Mother, younger Brother and I were all hopeful that we would all get through this, if we just stuck together. We all thought that life couldn't get any worse, we were all horribly wrong.

My life is shattered. I have no family other than my brother, who lives too far away to visit. I've got no one. The only person I have to make breathing worth it is Robert Downey Jr. There's been a load of stuff keeping us apart, but even miles of sea didn't bury my memories of him, or the love we might just have shared the whole time if things had been different. Damn. Why does Love have to be so hard?
