This is a "what if" story - Robert making a different choice and not rejecting Michael after his parabatai confesses his feelings. One-shot. Let me know what you think! :)

Alec Lightwood was only 15 years old when he met his soulmate. And he was 25 years old when he realised he was in love with him. But it was too late.

(I will be changing things up a bit when Robert cheated on her ex wife Maryse as you can see that happens in season 2 but I will be changing it happening before season 1 ) What if Robert new wife had a daughter? And her mother sents her to get along with Roberts kids?

Maryse and Robert have marriage issues, Izzy has a boy-hoping problem, Alec is a self-conscious outcast, Jace is an arrogant jerk, Max is (was) a silent bookworm. Why are the Lightwoods like this? What's the story? What's the reason that our favorite Shadowhunter family has these problems? Maybe it's time we take a little walk down memory lane… ((Let's face it, this is on major hiatus))
