This story is exactly what the title implies. Dadsona hoped to spend a nice, quiet, fun summer with his daughter before she heads off to college and the other dads in the neighborhood. Just dads being good old' friends. That is, until a new neighbor? Arrival? Comes to Maple Bay. She's everywhere now. One night, at 4 AM, a baby wrapped in a pink blanket appears seemingly out of nowhere on Robert Small's front door. The note SAYS she's his infant daughter, a result (most likely) of a one night stand. Determined to redo the terrible job he'd done parenting his first daughter, Robert takes her in. Not everyone gets a second chance for redemption, but this time, Robert Small does.
