“Etty deserved to die for falling in love – not like this.”
Death was all Etty had ever known – first her older brother, followed by her gran and then her best friend. Her mother was all who was left, but she had disappeared many years ago, so she didn't count.
She was a shy girl, and didn't like change all that much, so when her dad passes away, and with no one else to depend on, she is thrown into the life of her mother – the woman who had abandoned her before she had even learned to talk - she takes a while to adjust. Now living in the outskirts of London, she meets Addison – the boy with the blue eyes and who is in a well-known indie band and who has the perfect family and a group of amazing friends and achievements and money and knowledge and love and everything she’s ever wanted.
She thinks everything is okay, but jealousy is a powerful thing, and before she knew it, she found herself on the rooftops, feet halfway off the edge, mind set to finding her death. Seconds later, it was all gone – and Addison thought he was all alone. Little did he know that Etty was with him the entire time.
From looking overhead, Etty watches her best-friends lives come crashing down around them, and she watched her one true love fall in love with someone else.
