The gate to the upside down has been closed again. Almost no one knows what really happened that night and how Chief Jim Hopper really lost his life.The people of Hawkins should finally be safe now. But then there suddenly seems to be activity at the Hawkins lab again. Scientists try to reopen the lab to investigate the upside down more. Some slimy substance appears everywhere around the lake nearby. Eleven hears someone scream. Is it someone like her who needs their help? Does that mean that everything is going to be chaos again, that monsters from the upside down will come back to haunt Hawkins? Will it ever be possible to leave what has happened behind?
