Walls. White. Suffocating. Screams. Walls. Red.
You are expendable. You are experimental. You are not expected to survive.
You did nothing wrong, you tell yourself. Ignore the guilt gnawing at your conscience. You tell yourself it wasnt you who killed all those people in that fire in that forest all those years ago. Those people had families, the back of your mind whisper-screams, as loud as it is physically allowed, oppressed by all your other nauseating fantasies of a world where it all hadnt happened, where it all was perfect. But no. This is where you live, here and now, confined in the sterile space they have the luxury to call the Hadal Blacksite. Your shit hole of of what was a hopefully temporary "home." What you like to call, "hell."
That is, until you're face-to-face with the one who will either make or break the future you dont give yourself the time to imagine happening.
