In 2070, the humans of this planet have been made into robots when they turned 13. Valerie was a typical outcast at her junior high, and when she turned 13, her life changed forever. Seven years as a robot, is a very boring life to Valerie. She repeats a schedule that (to her) has no meaning at all. When she meets Ricky, she starts to feel strange things around him that she has never felt before. Warm, protected, outgoing, and even (slowly) love. But that's impossible, she is a robot, robots don't have any feelings. Or do they? As Valerie and Ricky's friendship grows stronger, Valerie starts to realize that she is becoming more of a human than a robot every time she spends time with Ricky. Out of the blue, people start to watch her to make sure she isn't around him at all. Is there a way to turn every robot back to humans? Or do we have to spend the rest of our natural born life as robots?

Character Descriptions Nero (22 years old) Tall, lean, with sharp features and deep brown eyes that hold a certain intensity. His dark hair is always slightly messy, but in an effortlessly charming way. Witty and a little sarcastic, but underneath, he has a soft heart. Passionate about science and AI, always working on new inventions. Meeting Yelena changed his perspective-he started seeing beyond logic and into the beauty of emotions. Yelena (21 years old) Medium height, with long, wavy auburn hair that catches the sunlight beautifully. Her emerald-green eyes hold warmth, curiosity, and a quiet strength. A dreamer who believes in emotions more than logic, the kind of person who laughs easily and loves deeply. Studying robotics, but unlike Nero, she is more interested in how technology can connect with human emotions. Nero is her safe place, the person who makes her feel truly understood.

Jimmy tries to get the Commander to warm up to him by being more human without going deviant. Eaglebones begins to wonder if his robot partner, Ricky, has gone deviant and if maybe he has chance with a robot who has feelings now. Crash starts getting used to his new job at the station with his family finally in a place where he finally feels like he can trust everyone.

This is an Overwatch Fanfic set before the Omnic Crisis and before the Omnics were said to have a soul like humans. This story follows two original characters of mine as they face the inequality of the Overwatch universe. At least, that's what I thought it would be. What I originally wanted for these characters and what I ended up writing here were different, but I still like this version, so I'm keeping this up as a teaser for my bigger and better story portraying these two characters, along with a few other Overwatch members, that'll be debuting on the 27/11/2017.
