She thinks the only way to get out of her troubles, is to die. But, realization hits her. Not only would she hurt her family, fans and friends. She would be hurting herself too. Laura Marano is new to Camp Star, the new summer camp that is filled with music, activities and camp fires all that exciting camp stuff. She isn't that excited but when she meets Maia Mitchell, she soon thinks otherwise. All is going well until Laura comes across a certain irresistible blonde that loves to play girls around and thinks he will get Laura as easily as the others he has successfully worked his charm on, Maia being one of them. Rydel is the only sister of Ross and knows he can change but Laura doesn't think he will so Rydel persuades Laura to change him which she reluctantly agrees to while all that 'Ross' drama is going on, Rydel has a budding crush in Ross's friend, Ellington Ratliff. To make things worse, Maia is crushing on Ross's older brother, Riker but doesn't want to seem weird as he's 2 years older than her. Maia doesn't know what to do but she soon contemplates dating Riker's younger brother, Rocky and well that causes more and more drama.
