Nalani Kealoha-Wataru is many things. A seventh-year Slytherin. A professional surfer. An extreme-sports-loving menace raised in Ocean Shores by Uncle Tito. A powerful Pokémon Trainer who defeated three members of the Kanto Elite Four-and deliberately refused to finish her battle with Champion Lance after discovering that winning meant paperwork. She also happens to be Lance's wife. So when Hogwarts prepares a musical welcome for mysterious international officials, Nalani thinks she's pranking the Ministry by convincing the entire school to perform Like a Prayer. Then the Great Hall doors open. And in walks her husband. Along with the entire Kanto Elite Four. Three of them are crying with laughter. Lance is redder than his hair. Nalani's soul has left her body. And her Slytherin friends are the only ones hearing the increasingly inappropriate commentary she's adding under her breath. Now Nalani has only one option. Grab the skateboard and run. Because Lance wants a private conversation, the Elite Four will never let her live this down, and Hogwarts is about to discover why everyone who loves Nalani describes her the same way: Sweet as sunshine. But being married to a shapeshifting Drama Llama comes with its own complications, so Lance has developed a warning chart now possessed by the Elite Four, Hogwarts staff, Tido, and Ray: Large Pokémon: She's pissed. Find Lance and pray for whoever caused it. Medium Pokémon: She's smug and being dramatic. Completely safe. Small Pokémon: Something is genuinely wrong. Find Lance immediately. Between Hogwarts chaos, Pokémon battles, Hawaiian family traditions, dramatic transformations, and one husband who has learned that "Aloha au iā ʻoe" can occasionally coax his ridiculous wife out of a sulk, Lani's final year promises to be unforgettable. After all, Lance may still be Indigo Champion. But everyone knows who actually runs his life. His beloved Drama Llama.

Alexa Pierce knew what she wanted to do with her life. Graduate high school with honors, get into Pratt and make her way into the art world. Nothing was going step into her way of her dreams. Except maybe for the part that her birth father is coming back into her life, and that she's failing art class. Also, she's growing out of her clothes and not exactly on good terms with her peers, and oh the most brutal part, she's doubting her dreams as an artist.

Getting accustomed to this someone creates a serious conflict, making it difficult for Otto, Reggie, and Sam to keep their chemistry together without Twister.
