Mostly because North Shore High School being the only school to accept his admission despite his school records of vandalism and academic dishonesty... and probably because of his parents hoping he will turn a new leaf in a different environment and maybe probably because they are tired with dealing his troublesome behavior. Regina George has dreams of stardom. Unfortunately for her, so does the biggest loser she knows Rodrick Heffely. When they are forced to work together in class one day, they are forced to confront the truth of why they don't like each other and begin to uncover a whole different feeling altogether.

The two belong to different worlds. Regina, queen bee, leader of the plastics, and everything Rodrick wants in a woman. Rodrick, loud music, smudged guy-liner, and everything Regina avoids. Rodrick slowly breaks down Regina's tall cement barriers, giving Regina an escape from the pressure and criticism. But when it comes to choosing between her reputation and image or the band tee wearing punk-rocker, she freezes somewhere in the middle. Will she pick one, abandon both, or find a way to compromise?

After pulling a few strings here and there to ruin her cheating ex, Shane Oman's life, Regina George is done with love, but is also incredibly bored with her life at Northshore High. She never wanted anything to do with the weird but freakishly hot Rodrick Heffley, but it's clear he has a crush on her. How could Regina not take advantage of that? Rodrick got expelled from his Highschool, so now he's starting all over again at the North Shore Highschool - the territory of Regina George. Regina George is returning as single after summer break, a few days after Aaron Samuels broke up with her. Still not over Aaron, the popular Regina blocks all attempts from stinky Rodrick, to go on a date with her, but how long can she withstand the tension, that's building up?

So, despite her three most formidable years at NSH, she decides to transfer during her senior year to a smaller school in a more rural area that just so happens to be her rivaling school: Crossland High. Rodrick Heffley is one step closer to graduation, but here's the kicker: if he doesn't graduate with at least all C's, his parents plan to dismantle his band and make him start a real job (since college is off the table) instead of living out some rockstar fantasy. Rodrick knows his smarts lie elsewhere, so he has to come up with some sort of plan to save his GPA. In order to survive Crosslands, Regina must lie her way to the top, a habit she meant to kill but couldn't help resurrect in this new social climate. When Rodrick Heffley, the racoon-faced loser, finds out about her secret, she has to withhold her end of the bargain to keep said secret: help him keep his band. Along the way, she realizes there are more creative ways to lie, and that there are some people she doesn't have to lie to.
