Just as things could get any worse, a boy named Scotty Smalls moves in and becomes friends with him, along with a group of kids who play baseball at the sandlot. **** Along the way, Dylan comes across the leader of the group, Benny Rodriguez, and the two slowly fall in love with one another. All of the boys run into trouble when Smalls borrows a ball from his stepdad that gets hit over a fence. This was one of the most craziest summers of their lives.
