This story picks up right at the end of Season 7, immediately after the cameras quit. Rory and Lorelai are sitting in the diner talking, and Rory is trying to find the guts to tell Lorelai the news.

Post AYITL with flashes to the original series. The last 2 words left Rory's lips, & she knew in that moment, nothing would ever be the same. The man she loved was marrying someone else and now she was pregnant. How did things get so screwed up. Logan knew that once she turned him down, there was no point in delaying his marriage to Odette. I'm not great at summaries.

This story starts off from the test run of the dragonfly inn. What would've happened if season 4 went a little differently

What if Rory realized to late that Lorelei had her brainwashed to what she wants her to be. What will happen when she realizes it? How will she go about fixing herself to make things right for herself and make her happy. Picks up a few hours after Rory visits her dad in Boston. Story will mainly be told from Rory's POV with a few chapters being in Logan's. So.... those last four words happened. And then the screen went black. I couldn't just leave our favorite girl hanging, so this is my take on what happens afterwards. I really hope they make new episodes, but until then, this is it.

Rory never told Logan about the baby and decided to raise her daughter with the help of her family and friends she's dated on and off but never seriously.
