Luffy finds himself with the Roger Pirates. He has to find his way back but it's hard when a red haired kid doesn't want to let him go.

Any aspiring young pirate, especially those born during the worst generation, would know the tale of Gol D Roger; the pirate king of the last era. However while he is quite well known, not many many know of the battle of god valley. This was birthplace of the two pirate kings. Come one and all as I recount the events of what happened on that island. On that very day, the entire world changed.

If there's a second chance in life, will you take the offer from a certain captain of becoming a pirate and go on numerous adventures? As a reincarnator that's probably what everyone first choice would be and that what Eshal's choose but with a bit of a twist. With the knowledge of the future, she will try to change the future to prevent less people she cares about die. This is the start of a second chance in life of Gol D. Eshal in the One Piece world. (This story is in progress. I'm still working on the plot of the story. There might be changes on the characters but other than that DON'T expect too much.)

(Trying to write this again) Neo is a prick of a kid. She's a smartass, stubborn, and just outright mean. They swore they would protect their apprentice with their lives no matter what happened. That is how the child who had only known pain and fear became the Apprentice's apprentice. Shanks has feelings for Buggy and the crew can tell he does. When the two become more of age the two get separate rooms just in case Shanks tried something on her. Buggy had feelings for Shanks but didn't believe anyone could actually love her in that way. So when he confessed to she refused him harshly. This is an AU that will only impact his childhood but not much in his pirate life. This story has many inspirations, especially pertaining to the stories of Shanks being the "Dad who steps up for Luffy." I adore such story, and I am kind of obsessed with it. Though, there is not much story focused on that relationship. Shoutout to @Islenthatur (they are from AO3, by the way), they are one of my huge inspiration for writing this story. Some of the ideas, like Ocean Blessed and Luffy taking Benn's last name, would be incorporated into the story. It's such a wholesome idea, honestly.

The Strawhats are sailing the seas calmly when an unexpected change in their course led them to reunite with unexpected people. Now why did they meet up of friends and foes?
