There will be spoilers of the book because it's just me, the author, babbling about the origin of N&C, how it came to be, and deleted scenes and- you get the gist. I hope you enjoy? This was totally not created because I missed writing the N&C characters, by the way. Totally.

By day, he's Roguefort. A shy citizen who's friends with Detective Almond. By night, they're Phantom Bleu. A well known criminal who's got a love for dramatic performances. Balancing the two lives is fairly easy, but it cant last forever. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Important things: -Roguefort uses he/him and they/them pronouns interchangeably. -I use the name Phantom Bleu when they're in their normal costume, and Roguefort for his disguised name. -Phantom Bleu can and will speak French to tease Almond (and to swear in front of Walnut without her understanding) ~*~*~*~*~*~*~ First chapter published: January 16, 2022

Sparkling used to have the best shop in town. His bar. Everyone would go there and parties would be there every night. It was great. That was... until a tea shop opened across the street. Suddenly everyone was going there and hanging out there, and Sparkling had to admit he was a bit jealous. Although... was it just him, or did the barista there look kind of cute..? I'm planning to eventually release a visual novel that will follow this storyline <3) Almond Cookie, a prominent figure within the investigative community, is pulled into yet another robbery case... with a twist. "Bleu", an infamous thief within Parfaedia seems to also be linked to numerous amounts of cyber attacks, scams and general crimes, and Almond is set as the main (and only) detective on the case. From clue to clue, it leads him to an online chatroom with his presumed target. Detective e-dates a criminal (4kHD), basically. Based on an AU I wrote back in 2020/21, originally called "Behind the Screen".

Through a night of complete boredom the detective starts to find himself slipping in his job through complete carelessness. But eventually he starts to see something else in a chain of mysterious robberies and abnormal events. A masquerade waiting after death.

In a world where the Cookies have their own civilized society, there were two families that have fought for decades; the Nuts, a family of detectives that seemed to successfully solve every case on hand, and the Cheeses, a family of criminals that seemed to never get caught. When Almond Cookie meets Roguefort Cookie, they immediately become best friends, unaware of the burden that is their family's reputation. But when Roguefort's sister and mother work together to kill Almond's father, all hell seems to break loose, as the conflict between the two families intensifies. Will the two friends continue their friendship and put their families' reputation at stake, or will they break off and become enemies instead? 1st in #walnut and 2nd in #almond (as of 9/5/2021) P.S. This is not meant as a ship fic, it was written before CRK and Almond's debut, I don't mind it being interpreted as a platonic one though :D
