Amära's father is killed defending Rohan from Orc attacks under Theodred's leadership, while the King was . . . temporarily indisposed. With his death came also the loss of his sword and horse, further bringing their once-proud family into poverty. Amära is distraught over her father's death and particularly over the loss of his sword and the family horse -- the last connections she had of him. Hope springs a-fresh when a family friend finds once more the sword of her father, bringing back aspirations of becoming a shield-maiden under the King's banner. Éomer, King of Rohan, has had many losses in his life; of his family only his sister Éowyn survived the Ring War. So he decides that in the future he will guard his heart better and thus avoid further hurt. However, he also needs to find a wife. Luckily there is an answer to his problem: that wonderful Gondorian invention, a marriage of convenience... A tale of loss, love and limpets.

King Éomer wants to spend some time alone with his wife Lothíriel for their first Yule together. But not everything works out as planned. Oneshot, set four months after the wedding in 'Yours to Command'.

A chance encounter in a linen cupboard in the Houses of Healing has unforeseen consequences as Éomer of Rohan finds himself caught between two very different women. However, things are not quite as they seem: a tale of love, deception and bees.

Eowyn is a daughter of horse lords, a shield-maiden of the mighty nation of Rohan. As the darkness of Mordor continues to overtake the lands of Middle-earth, she finds herself losing hope for herself and her country. She decides to stowaway as an undercover soldier as her uncle, the king, and his army goes to aid the armies of Gondor. Though there may not be much hope for winning this war, she aspires to die nobly while fighting for her land and world - except she does not find death, but finds a surprising alternative ending with something else entirely: hope. The end of "The Return of the King" as told from Eowyn's perspective.

How did Éomer, King of Rohan, meet his wife? This is a series of oneshots describing different scenarios, some long, some short, some serious, some less so. No connection with each other or any of my other stories.

A large mining company has set its sights on her family's land, and with the will of her father weakening, she is suddenly confronted with the reality that she may be forced from the only place in the world she truly loves. With the deadline for a decision approaching, Théadain must lay aside her pride and turn to the only law firm in the country that would dare stand up to her rivals - she just needs to convince the new senior partner to take up her case. As she learns of the rising darkness in far off corners of her world, she begins to realise that her fate may lead her beyond the familiar, and may entwine with the fates of others in ways she could never have foreseen.
