The world is divided into four nations -- the Water Tribe, the Earth Kingdom, the Fire Nation and and the Air Nomads -- each represented by a natural element for which the nation is named. Benders have the ability to control and manipulate the element from their nation. Only the Avatar is the master of all four elements. The ruthless Fire Nation wants to conquer the world but the only bender who has enough power, the Avatar, has disappeared ... until now. A tribe soon discovers that Aang is the long-lost Avatar. Now Lü Bu the son of the Fire Nation's greatest war general and Northern Royalty alongside his friends Katara and Sokka must safeguard Aang on his journey to master all four elements and save the world from the Fire Nation.

"All that matters is that we're unharmed. You do not need to worry about my mental state." She walks away, with her hands behind her back. Aang sighs, and follows her. "But I still do." He muttered to himself.

The series follows adventures of Aang and his friends, which gotta save the world by winning in front of the Lord of Fire and thus ending the war with with the people of fire. The main characters are: Katara (a master of water from the Southern Tribe), Sokka, her brother, Aang (the avatar), and their friends, Appa and Momo, and among the negative characters is the prince Zuko and his uncle, Iroh. After the end of the first season in the scene appears princess Azula (Zuko's sister) and a new earthbending, Toph Bei Fong, who will join Aang's team. Only in the third season appears the Supreme Lord of Fire, Ozai, where there will be a confrontation of titans between him and Aang. The war starts from the King of Fire, Sozin, being as well the grandfather of the present king.
