War of Genesis (WoG) is a Light Novel set in a medieval fantasy world. Originally a role-playing game that lasted around 8 years without interruption, the story was so good to me that I set about writing it so that as many people as possible could enjoy it. It's a long-term series, which will probably last for years, for which the entire story has already been played on the role-playing game. The story is in an absolutely new style, mixing the codes of shonen, heroic fantasy and dark fantasy. It tells the story of Arthur Zodiac, heir to the throne of Lilyani, who is forced to leave his future kingdom to discover the world. Many adventures await him, at the dawn of an era of chaos.

First off, this story was not written by me. I am posting it for a friend of mine, with permission of course. This took place in a Dungeons & Dragons game over 30 years ago. It is a about how one of the player characters got his start; Crentar Bronn. He is a human ranger of 1st level in this story. This is important to note, because it'll bring more perspective as you read the story. I was the DM (Dungeon Master) for this game. At the time, we were still in high school, which of course, gives away our age. lol I decided to have each character do it solo before they actually met up with each other. A teaser so-to-speak. Eventually, there was five player characters in the game. My friend who ran Crentar Bronn remembers this whole solo adventure to this very day in great detail. A few years after the game is when he wrote this story. We were recently reminiscing about 'old times' and he told me that he actually wrote it out as a story. He was then able to find it on an old hard drive & then sent it to me. I was very surprised at how good this is & how great his memory was from that adventure. I'm flattered that he was so inspired by it, that he turned it into a story! I hope you enjoy this early adventure of Crentar Bronn as much as we did. Perhaps, with enough comments & likes, he'll be inspired to write more chapters. THX

Many people wonder what Dungeons and Dragons is. Our group (@SimcoeMuskokaGamers on Facebook) meets in a local tavern every other Wednesday night, and enjoys a bunch of games of D&D. We currently have 6 games running concurrently in the same campaign world, and nearly 40 members! This tale is the storytelling version of the adventures of my group. It is the culmination of notes taken by several people, and written by me. While small liberties have been taken for the purpose of narrative, this is essentially what Sessions of Dungeons and Dragons can be like. This is our story, there are many others.
