However, no one was prepared for them to actually become alive, least of all Rock. When Sari Sumdac walked into her father's office on Tuesday, May 11, 20XX, she was expecting him to be passed out, or otherwise struggling against the needs of his body, such as food and rest. What she did not expect to find was her father frantically scurrying about the lab, trying to organize his projects. This immediately set off sirens in Sari's head. Her father was never organized for anything. "Um . . . Dad? Are you okay?" Isaac Sumdac practically ran up to his daughter. "It's my old friend," he said beaming, "Dr. Thomas Light is headed to Detroit!"

When the world needs a hero, Mega Man will answer the call! When a new threat arises to team up with the nefarious Dr. Wily to take over the world, it's up to Mega Man and Proto Man, and now, Roll, to team up with an old enemy to put a stop to both of their plans! But all is not as it seems...

But over the years, the wars between him and Wily start to affect their lives. Humans are starting to fear a possible revolution of robots, robot masters are evolving at a bizarre rate, and the existence of a possible alien civilization guarantee change. As Rock battles the dark forces outside and inside his home, he will learn who to trust, who to watch, who to protect, and how far a hero will go to achieve peace.

He already knew what Dazai would say next. His eyes were saying for him. "I'm going to kill myself tonight," Dazai smiled faintly, looking somewhere past him with this faraway look on his face. -or- Dazai gives Atsushi his coat after a mission together. Atsushi accidentally takes it home but decides to give it back to him the next day. He doesn't get the chance, but maybe that was what Dazai wanted anyway.
