Sancha is a princess of Stetriol, daughter of King Irwin, niece of Gar, younger sister of Drina, and twin sister of Shane. Her life has long been dominated by the reality of the Bonding Sickness. Thus, when a mysterious stranger arrives claiming to have a cure, Sancha puts her fears aside out of hope to save the loved ones she still has. For her actions, she is rewarded only by betrayal, and in the wake of her father's death, Sancha is forced into exile by the very stranger she helped assist: Zerif. Beyond the boarders of her homeland, Sancha is ultimately found, and given the nectar from which she summons a spirit animal. Soon, she becomes a ward of the Greencloaks, cloaked in gray and troubled by the past, the present, and the future. But as Sancha is awakened to the complexities and secrets of her own family history and her spirit animal bond, and finds it in herself to trust and respect those Greencloaks surrounding her, it is clear that if Sancha wants to try to save her homeland, she must side with its sworn enemies. And perhaps, in doing so, Sancha might just save not only Stetriol, but all of Erdas. Note: I don't own Spirit Animals or any of its characters. Faithful writhed on the ground, white hot pain burning behind her eyes. The Redcloaks, her friends and teammates, watched in dismay. Faithful was just another Redcloak who had to go through this nightmare. The first to go was Stead, leaving everyone confused and frightened. Then it had happened to more Redcloaks until there were only a handful left. They had all tried to fight it as it overcame them, since they all knew what happened at the end. Everyone knew that the Redcloaks' bond with the Bile had eventually made them merge with their spirit animals. What they didn't know was that now, Erdas seemed to be re-thinking. It was tearing the animals apart from the people. Faithful had seen it happen to many of her friends. They had all collapsed, letting out shrieks of pain as light flashed from them. Then when the harsh light had dissipated, it left the Redcloak's old spirit animal standing there, except that somehow along the way it had turned insane. The Redcloak was often laid out on the ground, dead. Faithful's spirit animal had been a cottonmouth snake, and she shivered at the thought of it attacking her fellow Redcloaks. She screamed as light poured out of her body with a blinding flash, and then everything went dark.

Beyond the boarders of her homeland, Nora is found by a group of friendly people, and given the Nectar of Ninani from which she summons a spirit animal. She soon became a new ward of the Greencloaks, cloaked for the first time and troubled by the past. But Nora has been awakened to see that there are many secrets being kept from her since she was a child.
