A new girl to a big game, Lilah, is extremely intimated as she shows up to her first bout. (Even though it is just to watch and keep skaters under control.) She was recruited to substitute ref from her local roller rink by a couple of jocks on the Bomb Squad team. Aparently she had hung out there too much and they thought a change of scenery and style would be nice. She soon finds herself plucked from reffing by her sorta-kinda-maybe-perhaps friend and though she's tempted to skate right into the other direction of figure skating, she can't go too far before being called out on destruction of pack and cowardice. So, instead of sitting out, she faces the challenges of being a roller derby fanatic.

Leah has always had one dream- to be a famous Roller-Skater and a girl who competes in Roller Derby. When Leah comes home from school the day her school ends for the summer, she finds out a Roller-Skating camp is available to join.
