This is a one-shot written for Trials of Love contest Prompt: Lost in the Mirror by Tenebris Scriptum From the beginning, theirs had been a difficult, opposed love. Hampered. It was not because of the different social position, nor the age difference or the judgment of the people around them. No. The main obstacle to their love was in their own blood. In the families that didn't want to accept that, against all the expectations they had towards them, they had fallen in love. Those two families for which it was unthinkable that their rebellion could be tolerated. Despite all their attempts, however, no obstacle had managed to separate them. It was after the umpteenth, violent, unsuccessful discussion that the forefather of one of the family, prey to the fury, invoked the demon, selling his soul and that of his descendants, as long as he imprisoned the soul of one of the two in the ancient mirror located in party hall. This time their love would not have overcome the obstacle ...

This is an acrostic poem, its genre is what I like to term as Philosophical Science and in this case relates to the origin of the universe and the big bang as if it were the conception and birth of a child.

Lunaria is a peaceful planet occupied by the Lunarian's. All year they live in darkness until Illumination Day. A day filled with light and love. On the day of light Lunarian's rush out of hiding to find their kindred soul before the planet plunges back into darkness. Princess Luna is of age and ready to find her prince. She's well aware that her planet could be in jeopardy if a Lunarian falls for someone who is not of their kind. As much as she's ready to honor that rule, there's only one thing standing in her way, and not only is he not Lunarian, but he's also light years away, and too hot to touch. When the time comes Princess Luna has to decide between her planet and love, but what she fails to realize is that she might be able to have both. My entry for 'Trails of Love' by Wattpad Romance - Loving the unloved Jefferson Humphrey, a sensational senior of Cleveland high accidentally falls in love with Daisy Butler, an unpopular girl with lots of acne and unreputed family background. Being an orphan, broke and a bullied outcast, Daisy avoids Jeff without realizing the love brewing behind his money and fame. Though Jeff wants to help Daisy, his attempts are turned into a perfect failure by his mates. Will Jefferson get his love against his reputation? A short story on true, unconditional love. Acne doesn't make one ugly, a heart full of hatred does.

Love and loss are universal, and even reach beyond our solar system. Witness the power of love and the devastation it can bring in these short stories. Most of these are inspired by the 2019 Trials of Love prompts, and I've been adding other bits and pieces as inspiration hits.

There is a long-standing myth of a planet with blue skies and water. Late at night, Elders from all planets would point up at the sky and retell legends of furry beasts, where flying mammals marred the sky with lullabies, trailing shadows above abundant trees. For eons, the Bureau of Space Exploration searched for the alleged sapphire planet and all forms of life in Cosmos Redshift 7 banded together in an effort to find new life, to form new allies. And in the BSE's Space Craft Center, Hheli and Merci created a bond stronger than any fighter brigade could ever fathom. There is one problem though. Merci and Hheli's haven't talked in deciquads. Not to mention, their bodies cannot live in the other's conditions. Hailing from Traxi, Merci relies on high doses of carbon dioxide. And ironically, Hheli was born on Norctune, where the sun doesn't shine and the air is thick with oxygen. Is this just a problem they can't fix?
