When a sedative she took from her doctor kicks in, she finds herself falling asleep on a park bench and is found by an American reporter, Joe Bradley, who takes her back to his apartment for safety. Loosely based off of my interpretation of the song Roman Holiday by Halsey. (Multiple ships) Bertolt Hoover's life had been rather happy. His family was in tact, his adoptive brother was a good friend of his, and everyone loved him. He had grown up in the church along with his friends and never found himself doing anything wrong. Being one of the nicest people around, him and Marco were given the responsibility to welcome every new student when they arrived. Reiner Braun was a bad kid, and was rather rude to those around him. Bertolt had never been a social person, but Reiner just seemed like he needed a friend. The flowery words can never beat the feeling of love. Is it making any sense? Well no, maybe not. The city of Florence has so many icons. It is in many people's opinion, this is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Luckily for Jordan, he studies here. He only begins to study there, when suddenly under a tree, sits a girl while reading a large book. The title was Anna Karenina. The girl reads with multiple expressions that can be seen. It was joy, sadness, grief, and general ecstasy. She is happy. Let's see if books are still better than real life.

I wrote this a year ago, published it, unpublished it, waited like a year, then decided to publish it again. I haven't revised it since last year so mind the mistakes okay. Also this is heavily inspired by many songs including halsey, fall out boy, and troye sivan ones. Wow what an alternative queen, aha. I love this storyline though, I genuinely wish I was this girl (Dahlia) and I hope you fall in love with the story like I have.
