Set after the events of endgame, where Thanos is dead and everyone is safe in the same timeline. The story follows Natasha Romanoff and Steve Rogers as they try to rebuild their relationship, broken by a painful past. At the heart of the story is James, a two-year-old child who shifts every balance, forcing them both to choose between fear and love, duty and the longing to belong. Steve liked Natasha for a while but he doesn't want to confront her because he doesn't want to lose her and make things awkward if she rejected him. But there's one problem, Steve writes all his problems down.

Knowing that Steve is alone, however? It worries her. He always felt something suspicious of the new promoted soldiers, feeling like theres always something behind their job, something like hydra. But he was most suspicious of Natasha Romanoff, from her guarded attitude and cold, mysterious demeanor. This created a very cold, hated tension between the two that was oddly noticable to the other dames. Will the two stay as enemies and Steve finding out the truth? Or will there be a twist in the two's hostile relationship?
