Taylor stood stiff in front of Andrew, eyes looking into his with deep rooted insecurity.
"What are you saying, Andrew?-" Taylor whispered, and Andrew softened,
"I'm saying that I am yours, and I always have been."
"You were never mine!" She cried, "you were my friend, my best friend, but you were never mine."
Andrew caved in, wrapping his arms around her, bringing her close to his chest, "I was yours the moment I saw you, it took time to see you for who you are as a whole, but every piece of you I got, I gave twice as much of my heart to you."
Taylor cried. Andrew had found the key to her heart somehow, and she had the key to his hidden inside herself the whole time, if she had only been honest with herself and if he'd been honest with other people, it might not have taken so long.
Now without masks and pain, she wrapped her arms around him and trusted that he would hold her heart with gentle and humble hands. He knew what he had.
