Tuttavia i motivi di questa richiesta rimarranno in parte misteriosi. Il mistero prenderà una piega ambigua quando il protagonista inizierà mostrare segni di ossessione e apparente paranoia. Quale sarà la realtà? Edgar ha ragione? O è tutto frutto delle sue fantasie?
