Stacie Congo has always wondered what love really feels like. After moving to a new country, she is more concerned with finding friends, improving her English, and building a future as a veterinarian.
Everything changes when she chooses a new seat in art class and begins sitting beside a boy named Quoc. At first, he is only another student. Their conversations are small, ordinary, and sometimes awkward. But little by little, those moments become the brightest part of her school days.
As Stacie learns his name, shares jokes with him, and grows more comfortable in his presence, she begins to understand that love does not always arrive dramatically. Sometimes, it begins with a simple conversation, a shared drawing, or a seat beside someone.
Book One is a story about first love, quiet feelings, friendship, and the beginning of a memory that Stacie will carry for years.
