Ronal and neytiri are forced to lead the clan together while jake and tonowari are gone helping fix the villages quaritch had pillaged and burned, little did they know that that week they were gone was going to change the rest of their lives. (Set after the second movie cannon divergence where after the battle of the second movie Quaritch is dead so dont worry about him coming back, Ronal does not have a baby cause fuck dem kids I don't really want a baby in the fic. Cannon divergence where both Neytiri and Ronal lose their husbands in the battle taking place at the end of the 3d movie, working together to rebuild their village and manage grief brings the two women closer than they ever thought they could be, until it developed into something more. (For context this is an au Jake and Tonowari die, so does Ronal's baby.
