After spending years homeschooled in his parents' cushy mansion, Frankie is decidedly not cut out for the elitist boarding school lifestyle. Desperate for any break from his monotonous routines, Frankie begins to notice the strange happenings in Henrietta. More specifically, he notices how such things always happen around Richard Gansey III and his unlikely friends. As it just so happens, Gansey has always wanted a protégé.

Ronan Lynch always knew Cabeswater would come back, and when it did, Adam Parrish would be right by his side. Ronan and Adam decide to join Gansey, Blue, and Henry on their road trip. Follows The Raven King, only Noah is still alive (because Noah deserves a vacation).

Adam Parrish has known Ronan Lynch for almost three years, through their mutual friend Gansey. But what Adam doesn't know about are the feelings Ronan has for him. And the feelings he has for Ronan. And what about Adam's ex: Blue, and her feelings for Gansey?

Once there was a boy whose brother was killed by a flaming dragon, whose mother was lost and whose father was dead. He was a bittersweet mess of misfortune and possibility, a saved creature. Once there was a girl whose dreams became her reality, whose mother was not lost and whose father was not dead. She dreamt of razor-mouthed boys, of hornets and ravens, of forests and dead things. Once there was a boy who was a pristine and fine-lined thing to the Aglionby name. He was unspecial, but special all the same, able to believe in the profound and distrust the superficial. He was surrounded by magnificent creatures. Once there was a girl who could not see the other side, hear the other side or feel the other side. She was gauche and human, unlike those she knew. She wanted to change, but a bargin would have to be ensued. A life dreamt and a life spent. Cabeswater, unlike any other divine entity, could not be found so easily. But Cabeswater, as promising and as old as it was, was not the one being sought out. It was finding on its own. What adventures did the gangsey face during their senior year of high school, or the summer that followed? How did Gansey meet Ronan, and what adventures did they share during their first year at Aglionby? How did Ronan first react to Adam and Gansey being friends? How did Ronan cope with his father's death, and what was he like before that? What were Barrington Whelk and Noah Czerny like during their high school years? What discoveries has Blue made while learning of her tree-light ancestry? And how in the world does she manage to stay sane despite her proximity and exposure to the raven boys?
