The soft sound of Gansey's feet echoed through the empty pews in the church. No one was with him. Except they were. Noah Czerny sat silently in the first seat, shoulder slumped. Anyone else would have thought it was a trick of the light but not Gansey. Noah's image flickered slightly in the bright summer light streaming from the stained glass window. "Noah, where's Ronan?" "No idea, ask Adam."

Ronan Lynch has had feelings for Adam Parrish for a while, but he's never admitted it to anyone but himself. He's recently adopted the habit of regularly bringing Adam to the Barns with him. Adam knows something is up, but he doesn't say anything until he knows that Ronan needs to say something and will only say it if Adam forces it out of him.
