This story takes place just before the events of the seventh season. Regina is living her cursed-persona life in Seattle, a life that may look perfect to others but not to her. Having no family, no partner, her closest friend having left her for good she tries to find anything that would fill the void in her lonely heart. Until one day a wish she makes brings no one else but Emma Swan to her door.
