It's 1976, and school is out for the summer.

One major stoner was enough for Lee High School. When another moves to Austin Texas and starts inhabiting the school, rumors filled with smoke and Pink Floyd are heard through the halls. Now that summers on its way, how will the two potheads celebrate the end of their junior year?

• Welcome to August 1976 • Summer is winding down as Cherie, a soon-to-be senior at Robert E. Lee High School, has just moved in from another town to live with her aunt. How will things unfold as Cherie adjusts to a new place full of new people? This was intended to originally be a Slater story, but after a lot of indecisiveness I've settled on splitting it into two parts. One where Cherie ends up with Slater, a character I've always adored, and another where Cherie ends up with Don, a character I've come to love but have never found any stories written with him as a main character.
