This is a cheesy story about a girl who has always dreamt about becoming a YouTuber and be part of the community and collaborate with other famous Youtubers. She has idolized Youtubers like CodyKo, Shane Dawson and RoomieOfficial. But when watching Joels videos, she felt a little more than just admiration for his content. She has always been attracted to him and now her dreams are about to become reality...

A romantic fanfiction between the youtubers Boyinaband and Roomie, aka Joel and Dave. Listen, there's a reason I made this anon account with a throwaway email, my irl friends follow my main wattpad. Judge me.

Maelyn knew she would get big, but never this big. Her channel's name was on so many websites, her internet alias in so many posts. Her channel had blown up so quickly, there was so much to think about: editing, responding, creating, keeping her identity secret, analytics, Vidcon, homework she kept forgetting about. But, there was only one thing she could think right now. Why the frick do I like him? While the main character's main personality trait is not swearing, there is swearing but about as much as you would expect from these streamers. No explicit sexual content. Maybe some violence if I'm feeling like adding some spice. This is a slow, SLOW, burn. So, be patient. Remember that all characters based on real life are just that...based on real life. I don't pretend to know how these real life people would think or react to specific situations.

**This takes place as if you and Joel were both in school today. Joel and you would both be 15** Y/n was always the girl who sat in the backgrounds, watching the lives of the popular kids all around her. Never noticed, never wanted to be noticed. Until one day when her eyes catch another outcast like her- but this time, the outcast tried to speak out. He was "the kind of kid who would eat sand just because nobody dared to". Joel was always know as the "music geek". And he didn't care. He didn't care that people thought he was the weirdo. He had his guitar and his voice to glide him through freshman year. And the rest of his life. He didn't care until they thought it would be funny to break his guitar.

uhh yeah i shipped it for a bit and this garbage came out. i dont think this is a good story because i didnt have a plan for it but i spent quite a bit of time writing this and i dont want it to go to waste Also #5 in boyinaband isnt bad for a fanfic i wasnt even planning on publishing at first Also i just want to clarify that irl shipping isnt okay, and if either roomie or dave say they are uncomfortable with being shipped, i will delete this without hesitation. A brother wants to help her, so he creates a game as her mind's playground that he will let YouTubers play in for the excuse that he will be introducing the new VR set he has created. Ps., none of these events are real. Most of the events you will hear about in this story are made up. This is just an idea for a story of mine.
