It's only a pleasant surprise when after a tiring search he finally gets in contact with Draco Malfoy - a peculiar young boy whom he had met two times before. The first time at that specific clothing shop in Diagon and the second during the Yule Ball of 1994. The first time Harry had learned that Draco is much smarter than he shows, the second that he is much sneakier than he shows (and also looks stunning in blue) and the third that there is so much more to learn about Draco Malfoy that such brief encounters simply can't give him any justice. mikey is a quiet freshman at a strict boarding school, who gets assigned a roommate with lots of... personality, i guess you could say. pete isn't exactly a social butterfly, but he knows how to work the room when he has to. being a freshman is hard, especially at a boarding school, but he figures he can skate through it. the two seem like the most odd pair, but the alphabetical ordering system throws them in the same dorm and says to make it work. and it does, at least, at first. but can they handle their real feelings, and can they handle the secrecy that would have to come with it? the risk, and the fear, and the love, and the chance of losing their friends? or, possibly, losing each other?

One introvert plus one extrovert and a quarantine order forcing them to stay in an apartment for a unknown amount of time is a recipe for disaster. Or so Virgil thinks. He's a quiet college student who lives an apartment close to campus because he rather not risk random placement. When his friend is looking for another roommate he gracefully accepts. After almost two years of living with the same people, he has some strong opinions. One of those is how much he dislikes Roman. Now he's stuck with him in a three bedroom apartment and he doesn't even have the buffers there to prevent arguments. After a few weeks, though is he truly feeling the same way? Has he always hated Roman or was he just trying to avoid his actual feelings about his roommate? *This is a AU that has to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic and the quarantine situation, it won't have anything too bad about the disease but it will have mentions of it. They are also in college so there might be adult situations and mentions of alcohol. Rose and Swan is a highly religious boarding school nestled deep in the mountains. It's the perfect place to hide, but Edward is about to find out you can't hide from yourself. He had no problem hiding his sexuality, not until Piers Gaveston, his new roommate, shows up. Based loosely on Kit Marlowe's play 'Edward II'. Feels like a teen rom-com. I wrote this as the book I wished I'd had as a teenager, that is to say I wanted it to be a sort of comforting, relatable world, as well as genuinely fun. That said it does follow the basic plot of the play so there are some unsettling scenes. Namely Chapters: 15, and 23 on. (If you think the cover is too gay I assure you it's what Marlowe would have wanted. If you think the book is too gay I PROMISE you, it's what Marlowe would have wanted). Trigger/Content Warning: some graphic violence that may be disturbing to some readers (chapters 21--on, Epilogue is fine). Some teenage sexuality (teenagers kiss, it is implied teenagers have sex, chapter 19 primarily, but all scenes are PG-13 level sensuality). Brief teenage level crude humor. Self harm is discussed throughout (worst depiction in chapter 14). Conversion therapy discussed at length and briefly depicted (Chapter 15). A character suffers from gender dyphoria and is dead-named on page (chapter 20). Graphic violence/torture after Chapter 21. Be aware of your mental state and seek help as needed.
