Three 16 year old's. One witch. Two Vampires. A murderous Sheriff. One small town hiding something far more dangerous than all of them. Welcome to Mound Bayou. ---------------------- Mound Bayou infamous Sheriff Grant wasn't too keen on asking three untrained supernatural 16-year-olds to help save their town. Despite their unique abilities, the young heroes didn't answer his request with a "Yes Sheriff, it's our duty!", like one would think. And how could they? The three were busy untangling the tight lipped secrets and lies they had been told all their lives; combined with the pressures of school, dating, friends and covert rivals, kept them pretty busy. Shouldn't the Sheriff's 20+ years of experience fighting supernatural beings make him more than qualified in keeping the town safe? Most would agree with that statement, but this new enemy was different. This new opponent wasn't just faster or stronger, Sheriff Grant has been tangling with the best of the best since he was a rookie on the police force. So, while our young heroes and the sheriff were busy battling it out with the Towns Torturer and his crew. Unbeknownst to them a new foe had been hiding in the shadows, studying the sheriff, the townsfolk, and any potential threats that could hinder a hostile takeover. Developing a meticulous and methodical plan to seize the town's best kept secret, The Bayou. "What if I don't want to be a hero, save your damn selves!" - Jachobrin What the Author hopes? If only for one second or even just a small inkling. I somehow convinced you that the things I write about could exist. Then I accomplished my goal as a dope writer. ✍🏽 Blood Roots - Just be glad I choose forgiveness. Placing My finger to where the apple was last, I trace it back to its roots, Till I reach the ground, The Soil, The Earth, The Beginning. Enjoy, -PjoemsIJot

⁽Bᴏᴏᴋ 1 ᴏꜰ Sʜᴏʀᴛ Sᴛᴏʀɪᴇs⁾ 𝒜𝓃 𝒪𝓁𝒹-𝓈𝒸𝒽ℴℴ𝓁 ℒℴ𝓋ℯ 𝒮𝓉ℴ𝓇𝓎 Let's travel back to the year 1989, The years when love letters still carried the scent of ink... And every stolen glance weighed heavier than a hundred words. Two hearts learned to beat against the rhythm of expectation. He, molded by discipline and duty. She, woven with faith and quiet rebellion. Between family honor and whispered prayers, between temple bells and city rains, their worlds clashed... collided... and slowly intertwined. This is not just a love story.. it is the memory of an era, of traditions that bound, of choices that freed, of a love too stubborn to fade. What will happen when faith, family, and love collided...

Where am I.... What is this place?.... I don't know my name. I don't even know who I am or how I got here. It's so dark and cold in here. An abandoned place? It's so strange here.... I'm so pale and I feel something empty inside. Why... is there a hole in my chest?

Society has dubbed them by many names, the most common being guardian angels, saving people from meeting an unpleasant fate.As many people encourage these sightings, thinking it's a stream of a internet trend. All across the world, there are some sort of internet video claiming to have captured a super human with abilities, of course many of those encounters are hoaxes spread by the media, but that's their cover, humans are so blinded by unrealistic things that it's almost impossible to pass something as a authentic deal. Humans captured with baffling movements even science can't explain, either shrinking down till unnoticed or changing ones density or teleporting to a location near them. Dallay Veneiaz and her friends had no idea what to expect when they became drunk in the middle of the woods, ate a fruit from a tree, only to discover they were now tied to a swear of secrecy and thrown into a new life completely.

She didn't really do love - or so she made herself and others believe. Because deep down... she was scared." > "He was usually so stoic. I never knew what was going on in that gorgeous head of his-🙄 but now he won't even meet my eyes... does he fancy me?" (laughs nervously)... 📘 Blurb / Summary: > Two strangers. One secret place. A thousand unspoken feelings. Zara has always kept her heart guarded - love never looked peaceful in her home. Her secret escape? A quiet spot hidden beneath a canopy of green, where she reads, breathes, and pretends the world doesn't exist. Idris is the new boy next door - foreign, quiet, and hard to read. His parents seem in love, but something about him speaks of old wounds and silence that runs deep. When he stumbles into Zara's hideaway, sparks fly - and not all of them are friendly. What starts as awkward tension soon becomes something more. Something dangerous. Something real. But can two broken souls find peace in the same place? Or will secrets, fear, and family scars pull them apart before anything even begins? Somewhere Only We Know is a soft slow-burn teen romance full of poetic moments, hidden trauma, teasing banter, and the kind of love that blooms in quiet places.
