"I guess ill have a double scoop of the most amazing Icecream, Butterscotch Ripple" ** A month after the death of her parents Rori is unable to continue staying with her aunt and cousin April and instead must move from the big city to a small coastal town with a population of 200 made up of mostly pensioners and middle aged children-less couples, with a grand total of 7 teenagers. Rori doesn't know how she will be able to cope without April there to help her whenever things get bad, which is almost every night. With an Icecream to bring them together hopefully Carter can bring Rori out of her she'll, along with the help of his other friends, the only other teens in town.
