Gale Hawthorne is in district 13. They firebombed district twelve to nothing. Katniss Everdeen is poised to become the mockingjay. Rory Hawthorne got rescued along with the other tributes. "Grazie" mormorò con gratitudine, accarezzando la testa della bambola. Lo porse poi a Rory che, d'istinto, scattò all'indietro. "No no, tienila pure tu..." si affrettò a dire, ficcandosi le mani in tasca. Ormai il rossore gli aveva infiammato anche le orecchie. "... Sai, è che noi maschi siamo allergici alle bambole..." La ragazzina scoppiò a ridere.

Katniss Everdeen Mellark is dead. 16 year old Cypress, sister of Rue is from District 11. After her beloved sister died in the Hunger Games, Cypress hates the Capitol even more. Zetta Snow, the great-granddaughter of President Snow has had her great grandfather in her head for quite some time now. When the voice instructs her to restart the tradition of the Hunger Games after Katniss dies, she obeys.

Rory Hawthorne, Gale's younger brother who is now 17, has a lot to tell Prim now that she's not here to see any of what's happening in Panem after the rebellion. His letter to her is full of emotion which will express a powerful few years without her.

She's in District 12 with Peeta, Haymitch, and Gale's mother and siblings. She hasn't even seen Gale or her mom in over eighteen months. Okay sorry, I'm like REALLY bad at making summaries for stories. I hope you'll like the book more than the description, XP. I DO NOT OWN THESE CHARACTERS OR THE SETTING OR WHATEVER ELSE!! There's at least one mention of the book Peeta and Katniss were making in memory of the people who died, or the fact that Haymitch has geese, and other things like that. There will be some of my own made up characters but I couldn't do that without Suzanne having written the book, so... And the cover art (which I personally think is pretty dang awesome) was made by janeviiianueva on Tumblr. All credit goes to her. All I did was put my name on it. lol And honestly, the name for this fic came from that cover art, so shout out to her!! (Don't worry, I got her permission. XD)
