A VA fanfic from Dimitri's Point of View shedding light on this incredibly beguiling character that we all love so much. My intention with this is not to simply retell the events of VA, but instead deeply explore Dimitri's thoughts and feelings as he interacts with Rose and the other characters/events that revolve around her. My name is Rose Hathaway. I am a dhampir and I'm best friends with Princess Vasilisa Dragomir, the last of the Dragomir line. My life is pretty unstable and with having a princess who has an unheard element called 'Spirit' as her specialised element, weird doesn't begin to cover it. God knows how I am still alive and how I'll survive before I can even graduate.

This fanfic is written like a book, a Vampire Academy spin-off featuring a new, epic adventure. Rose and her friends' adventures in the VA series have been trying, but there is no escaping the fact that war is coming. The Strigoi are rapidly increasing in numbers, and no battle can be waged with them unless the Moroi finally decide to use their magic for the greater good. The vampires at the Royal Court don't stand alone, however, because back-up is coming from far away places in the form of a spirit-using royal Moroi and his shadow-kissed guardian... The story alternates between Rose's and our new shadow-kissed guardian's perspectives. A fanfic full-packed with action, drama, magic, and plenty of badass scenes with the original characters of the VA-series. The story echoes Richelle Mead's writing style and aims to further the VA-universe with new and exciting characters and environments.
